The painting entitled New Dawn by Daniel Rogers was commissioned by Old Cricket Club to commemorate its 140th anniversary and the new village hall and club house. Old is a small, picturesque Northamptonshire village of Saxon origin. The artist has captured an early spring morning scene as the players prepare the pitch for the first match of the new season. The 11th century church in the background providing the link to the past.
